The invention discloses a lower bowl type buckle for a bowl type buckle scaffold. The lower bowl type buckle comprises a bowl opening, a spline bulge and limiting holes; knurling pattern is formed in the inner side of the bowl opening which is located above the lower bowl type buckle; the spline bulge with the design size in interference fit with the size of the outer diameter of a vertical rod is located at the inner surface of the lower bowl type buckle; the limiting hole is located below the lower bowl type buckle and is of a single-side structure. The invention also provides a mounting method of the lower bowl type buckle for the bowl type buckle scaffold. The mounting method comprises the steps of: enabling the lower bowl type buckle to sleeve the vertical rod when assembling the scaffold, striking the lower bowl type buckle to the position of the design size by using a hammer, then using a bolt or a pin shaft to penetrate the limiting holes to further fasten the lower bowl type buckle and the vertical rod so as to mount the lower bowl type buckle to the vertical rod. The lower bowl type buckle for the bowl type buckle scaffold has the beneficial effects that the assembling process of the lower bowl type buckle is simple to operate, other processing for the vertical rod assembled in match with the lower bowl buckle is unnecessary, processing technology and manpower consumption are reduced, cost is decreased and production efficiency is increased.
