Disclosed is a lateral barrier-free crane type stereo garage. The lateral barrier-free crane type stereo garage is characterized by comprising a vehicle loading plate and crane type bar linkage devices. The number of the crane type bar linkage devices is two, and the two crane type bar linkage devices are longitudinally installed on the ground in parallel. The front section of the vehicle loading plate is connected with one crane type bar linkage device through a hinge pin, the rear section of the vehicle loading plate is connected with the other crane type bar linkage device through a hinge pin, and therefore the whole stereo garage is formed. Each crane type bar linkage device comprises a driving four-bar linkage structure, a motion trail control four-bar linkage mechanism, a driving arm parallel four-bar linkage structure and a driven arm parallel four-bar linkage mechanism. According to the invention, the four-bar linkage structures are fully utilized to achieve convenient parking of a vehicle, and the lateral barrier-free crane type stereo garage which has the advantages that the occupied area is small, the vehicle is easily stored and taken, the time is short, operation is easy, working is stable and safety is high is obtained.
