The present invention discloses a novel tent comprising a support frame (1) and a protective fabric (2), wherein the protective fabric (2) is provided with a tent door (3) and a tent window (4), the tent door (3) including a water-proof layer (5) and a ventilating layer, the tent window (4) including a water-proof layer (5) and a ventilating layer, the water-proof layer (5) being arranged on one side facing towards the inside of the tent, the ventilating layer being arranged on one side facing towards the outside of the tent. The protective fabric (2) is provided with a retaining part (7) for a secured connection with a fixed object outside the tent and a connection part for a secured connection between users and the tent, the support frame (1) being provided with a solar panel (9) at the top thereof, the solar panel (9) being in connection with a battery inside the tent via a wire. The novel tent of the invention is better secured and not easy to slide and fall off. With the water-proof layer (5) on the internal side of the tent, the tent can effectively prevent mosquitoes and insects from entering the tent when it rains and assist users in charging in the field.
