The invention discloses an anti-blocking rainwater grate and a manufacturing method thereof. The anti-blocking rainwater grate comprises a gridded grate plate, wherein the grate plate is formed by an upper grid and a lower grid through fastening connection, and upper water holes in the upper grid and lower water holes in the lower grid are arranged in a staggered manner; the cross section of each rib of the lower grid is U-shaped, and at least two water seeping holes are formed in the groove bottom; the rib frames and middle ribs of the upper grid and lower grid are thicker, grooves are uniformly distributed in one of the upper grid and the lower grid, tenons are correspondingly distributed on the other one of the upper grid and the lower grid, and the tenons and the grooves are fastened together. The anti-blocking rainwater grate disclosed by the invention has certain anti-blocking function, sundries accumulated at rainwater inlets can be effectively reduced and conditions are created for smoothly draining rainwater.
