The invention relates to the field of decoration of building external walls, in particular to a vertical hanging type ceramic plate curtain wall installing structure. The installing structure comprises ceramic plates, angle iron, a hanging connection piece, aluminum alloy fasteners and sealing rubber strips, wherein the ceramic plates are vertically placed, the hanging connection piece is vertically inserted in the cavities of the ceramic plates, the other end of the hanging connection piece is fixed to the angle iron which is transversely arranged, and the upper ceramic plate and the lower ceramic plate which are adjacent to each other are connected in a hanging mode and fixed. The installing structure has the advantages that the cavities of the ceramic plates are vertically connected in the hanging mode through the hanging connection piece, the number of steel joists and the hanging connection piece is reduced, and it is guaranteed that no stress concentration exists on the fixed portions of the ceramic plates; a waterproof equal-pressure cavity is formed due to the vertical sealing rubber strip and the transverse sealing rubber strip which are specially designed and constructed, and a good waterproof and drainage effect of a ceramic plate curtain wall is achieved.
