A transversal-hole temperature-insulating concrete hollow brick of which the technical design points includes following characteristics: The side plates at the two sides of the brick is widened, wherein the side plates of the concrete hollow brick is aligned with inner side surfaces of a protruding rib on the concrete hollow brick, so that the side plates and the inner side surfaces of the protruding rib are designed in the same straight line; by means of the design, the pressure at the top and the bottom of the brick is not borne by a upper transversal connecting plate and a lower transversal connecting plate of the concrete hollow brick, and the concrete hollow brick is enhanced in seismic behavior and pressure resistance since the upper pressure and the lower pressure are directly acted on the top of the side plates. Upper joint surfaces and lower joint surfaces of an upper concrete hollow brick and a lower concrete hollow brick are designed into a planar contact structure so that mortar, when being used for filling a gap, is free from sliding downwardly and a gap is not formed, so that the concrete hollow brick is enhanced in seismic behavior and pressure resistance. By means of arrangement of a cold-hot bridge separating trough behind the transversal connecting plates, heat transfer in the concrete hollow brick is blocked so that not only is the temperature-insulating coefficient improved but also an object of reducing the weight is achieved. The concrete hollow brick is simple in manufacturing processes and is easy to use.
