The invention relates to an adjustable fixing device and fixing installation method of construction railings. The adjustable fixing device is a gate type fixing support which is formed through bending a strip-shaped plate; fixing segments which extend outwards horizontally and are provided with fixing holes are bent from two side ends of the lower part of the gate type fixing support. At least one connecting hole used for fixing ends of connection pipes of the railings are respectively formed in two side walls of the gate type fixing support. The adjustable fixing device is characterized in that two connecting holes which are distributed along a vertical direction are respectively formed in the two side walls of the gate type fixing support; and the connecting holes can be distance-adjusting kidney-shaped holes which are opposite to the insertion direction of the railings. The fixing installation method includes the following steps that: the gate type fixing support is installed on a wall surface through expansion screws and by means of the fixing holes in the fixing segments, at this movement, the gate type structure of the gate type fixing support is vertical to the wall surface; the openings of at the ends of the connection pipes of the railings are in insertion connection with the gate type fixing support; and the connection pipes of the railings are fixed on the gate type fixing support through screws or bolts and by means of the connecting holes. The adjustable fixing device has the advantages of simple structure, convenient installation, firm structure and the like.
