The invention relates to a built-in peep hole. A hole is formed in the center of the upper part of a security door; a pin is installed in the hole; a circular plate is fixed at the pin; and a peep hole is fixed in the edge of the circular plate. A chute is formed in the right side of the hole; the circular plate covers the chute; and the peep hole is installed in the chute. The chute is arranged in the security door in a semi-circular hollow-out mode. The circular plate can drive the peep hole to make rotation and the peep hole can rotate in the chute in a 180-degree mode; and the circular plate also can rotate in a 180-degree mode. According to the invention, the peep hole is hidden in the semi-circular hollow-out chute of the security door; and the observation hole of the peep hole is fixed in the circular plate and the circular plate can rotate; and the peep hole is driven to make rotation by rotating the circular plate, thereby adjusting the height of the peep hole at the security door. When the built-in peep hole is in use, the circular plate for fixing the peep hole is rotated in the door, so that the height of the peep hole is suitable for observation by people and thus people with different heights can use the peep hole. Therefore, the peep hole becomes convenient, safe, and practical.
