The invention discloses a high strength carbon fiber reinforced silicon carbide ceramic matrix composite material and a preparation method thereof. The composite material is characterized by being prepared from the following raw materials by weight part: 60-80 of silicon carbide, 6-9 of titanium diberyllide, 3-5 of lanthanum oxide, 10-15 of modified high elastic carbon fiber, 5-8 of vinyl chloride, 0.02-0.05 of cyclohexanone peroxide, 2-3 of urea, 0.2-0.5 of tetramethyl orthosilicate, 12-14 of heavy calcium carbonate, 1-3 of sodium tripolyphosphate, 20-30 of ethanol, and 40-60 of deionized water. The composite material provided by the invention adopts modified high strength carbon fiber as the reinforcement phase, has the advantages of excellent oxidation resistance, reinforced ceramic toughness, strength, high and low temperature resistance, good thermal conductivity and small expansion coefficient, etc., and the green body formed by a gel casting process has large hardness and good density, the sintering property is improved, also the temperature control is reasonable during rubber discharge, and the green body cracking phenomenon does not appear.
