The invention discloses a bridge deck opening maintaining method. The method includes the steps of a, chiseling off damaged concrete around an opening, roughening the edge of the opening, namely the opening in the upper portion of a haunched beam, and chiseling the edge of another opening in the upper portion a non-haunched beam into a slope which is a stepped slope; b, subjecting reinforcement exposed in the openings, to rust removal and rust control; c, drilling multiple holes in a haunched steel plate, welding shear pins in the holes, welding a stiffener to one side, far away the corresponding holes, of the haunched steel plate; d, fixing the haunched steel plate to a web through chemical bolts; e, hung a wood form to the bottom of a bridge deck as a bottom form, used to fully blocking the holes, and using the haunched steel plate as a bottom form to cover the holes located in the upper portion of the haunched beam; f, keeping the chiseled surface wet and free of free water, and coating the chiseled surface with interface adhesive; g, repairing the holes, namely pouring concrete into the holes.
