The invention relates to the technical field of architectural decoration and provides a combination door frame and a mounting method of the combination door frame. The combination door frame comprises a first door decoration line, a first door pocket, a connector, a second door pocket and a second door decoration line, wherein the first door decoration line, the first door pocket, the connector, the second door pocket and the second door decoration line are strip-shaped; the first door decoration line, the first door pocket, the connector, the second door pocket and the second door decoration line are sequentially connected in a matching manner via grooves and bulges; one side, far away from the first door pocket, of the first door decoration line and one side, far away from the second door pocket, of the second door decoration line are fixedly connected with a wall; and a first groove for accommodating a door is formed on one side of the first door pocket. The door frame is not required to be customized; mass production is achieved; the cost is greatly lowered; the connector can be cut according to actual thickness of the wall; the door frame is applicable to the wall in different thicknesses and has high adaptability and generality; and a customization period of a suit door is shortened. The door frame is applicable to the wall with the thickness exceeding 165mm.
