The invention relates to a refractory castable with good application performance and low production cost. The refractory castable is prepared with the raw materials of corundum slag, aluminum profile plant industrial sludge, magnesia, aluminum ash, silicon carbide, kaolin fine powder, zinc-aluminum spinel fine powder, dolomite, serpentine, zirconium oxide, yttrium oxide, sodium hexametaphosphate, sodium tripolyphosphate, and pure calcium aluminate cement. With the castable, corundum slag and thermal power plant fly ash are comprehensively recycled, and production cost is reduced. The corundum slag-thermal power plant fly ash refractory castable has the following performance indexes: after drying for 24h under a temperature of 110 DEG C, a normal-temperature compressive strength is 30.2-34.7MPa; after calcining for 3h under a temperature of 1350 DEG C, a normal-temperature compressive strength is 180-220MPa; and a volume density is 3.2-3.7g/cm<3>.
