The invention discloses a mobile type steel rail milling vehicle. The mobile type steel rail milling vehicle comprises an operation vehicle (11) and a power vehicle (12) which are connected with each other, wherein the operation vehicle (11) comprises an operation vehicle frame (101) which is symmetrical with respect to a transverse central shaft of the operation vehicle frame (101); a front cab (102) is arranged at the right side of the upper part of the operation vehicle frame (101); an air compressor room (103) is arranged at the left side of the front cab (102), and an air compressor is arranged in the air compressor room (103); an electrical room (104) is arranged at the left side of the air compressor room (103), and a tool rest replacement room (105) is arranged at the left side of the electrical room (104); an inverted-U-shaped opening (108) is transversely formed in the middle part of the operation vehicle frame (101) along the vehicle body; and the operation vehicle (11) further comprises a rough milling unit (106) and a finish milling unit (109). After performing rough milling on a steel rail, the mobile type steel rail milling vehicle further performs finish milling on the steel rail, so that the repairing effect of the steel rail can be effectively improved; damages or defects of the steel rail are repaired without using a polishing means throughout the whole operation process; and the mobile type steel rail milling vehicle has the characteristics of high repairing speed, high efficiency, good effect and small environmental pollution.
