Provided are a composite retaining wall structure and a construction method thereof. The composite retaining wall structure comprises a row or more than two rows of parallel facade drilled filling piles or supporting piles (1), a group of spinning jetting piles (2) arranged among adjacent facade drilled filling piles or the supporting piles and horizontally or obliquely inserted into the side wall or side slope of a foundation pit, prefabricated reinforced concrete square piles (3) inserted with the spinning jetting piles, a group of waist beams (6) horizontally connected with the facade drilled filling piles or the supporting piles at different heights and arranged on the extending ends of the prefabricated reinforced concrete square piles in a sleeving mode, and top beams (5) connected to the tops of the facade drilled filling piles or the supporting piles. A spinning jetting solidification body can be tightly engaged with a soil body behind the piles, the prefabricated reinforced concrete square piles can be connected with all spinning jetting solidification body sections together, the stability and rigidity of the row-pile retaining wall structure can be effectively improved, pile displacement in the excavating process of the foundation pit can be effectively controlled, and the safety of the foundation pit can be ensured.
