Method of installing elevator to existing building
The invention relates to a method of installing an elevator to an existing building. The method comprises the following steps: a, carrying out crime scene investigation on places between corridor windows and cell gates, and selecting an elevator installing position; b, building a shaft pit at the bottom of the elevator installation position; c, changing the corridor windows of all floors into door openings; d, additionally installing a steel frame base above the shaft pit, wherein the steel frame base is formed by overlapping a plurality of rectangular hollow steel frames with four sides; e, installing the elevator in the steel frame base; f, installing decorative exterior walls on the peripheral side of the steel frame base, wherein the bottom part of the decorative exterior wall corresponding to the cell gate is provided with an elevator door; g, installing the outer door frames of the elevator on the door openings and the elevator doors. According to the method of installing the elevator to the existing building provided by the invention, the elevator can be additionally arranged under the condition that the travel and daily life of residents cannot be affected; meanwhile, the structure in the building cannot be changed, an old building can be changed into a new building with a completely new outlook, the service life of the old building can be improved, and the travel convenience can be provided to the residents in the building.
