The invention provides a chute-type folding door system within space and a folding door. The folding door system within space comprises the folding door and a door frame. The door frame is provided with a connecting side. The folding door is rotatably mounted to the connecting side. The folding door comprises an upper door body and a lower door body. The upper door body comprises a first upper door body and a second upper door body, both of which are right-angled triangles with same size. A right-angled end of the first upper door body is obliquely hinged onto an upper end of the connecting side of the door frame such that the upper door body rotates around an oblique shaft z. One long side of the upper door body can be rotatably mounted to the connecting side such that the lower door body rotates around the connecting side as a shaft. A right-angled end of the second upper door body can be slidably hinged to the upper edge of the lower door body such that the lower door body and the upper door body can rotate around different shafts without interference therebetween.
