The invention discloses a construction and building material for walls. The construction and building material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 12-24 parts of expanded perlite, 8-16 parts of silicate cement, 6-8 parts of cellulose, 2-4 parts of closed cell perlite, 4-7 parts of diatomite, 2-5 parts of n-butyl methacrylate, 12-25 parts of 15-20% of a magnesium oxide solution, 6-8 parts of a toughening agent, 5-8 parts of hydroxyethyl cellulose, 20-36 parts of furnace slag, 4-5 parts of bi-benzyl amido ether, 35-45 parts of phosphorus based flame retardant and 10-21 parts of glass fiber. The construction and building material has the beneficial effects of high temperature stability and chemical stability, simplicity in construction, and environmental friendliness.
