The invention discloses a high-permeability soft ferrite material and a preparation method thereof. The high-permeability soft ferrite material is characterized by being prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 50-70 parts of ferric oxide, 25-27 parts of manganese oxide, 21-23 parts of zinc oxide, 0.2-0.5 part of silica, 0.3-0.6 part of bismuth oxide, 0.1-0.3 part of polyvinylpyrrolidone, 0.4-1 part of sawdust, 0.02-0.06 part of sodium lignin sulfonate, 2-4 parts of organic silicon resin, and a moderate amount of deionized water. According to the invention, the added silica contributes to the growth of crystalline grains and achieves a fluxing effect, so that the strength of ferrite can be improved and the sintering temperature can be reduced, thereby reducing the magnetic core loss; the added bismuth oxide has a function of raising the initial permeability and the saturated magnetic induction intensity; the preparation method of the high-permeability soft ferrite material disclosed by the invention is simple in production process, high in production efficiency, energy-saving, low in pollution and high in yield.
