The invention discloses a production method of a refractory brick for kilns and relates to the technical field of production of refractory materials. The refractory brick comprises, by weight, 25 to 35 parts of mullite powder, 5 to 15 parts of cordierite fine powder, 3 to 5 parts of alumina micro powder, 10 to 20 parts of zirconite fine powder, 3 to 5 parts of silica micro powder, and 5 to 10 parts of Guangxi clay. The refractory brick is made by material preparing, mixing, base making, drying and firing. Compared with the prior art, the refractory brick is good in corrosion resistance, wear resistant, small in thermal expansion coefficient, good in thermal stability, free of damage caused by expansion deformation on high temperature, and long in service life.
