The invention belongs to the field of construction and discloses a foundation trench soil cleaning device and method designed for soil cleaning before foundation trench excavation and detection in construction. The foundation trench soil cleaning device is composed of a soil cleaning facility and a supporting facility, wherein the soil cleaning facility works depending on the supporting facility and is composed of a soil excavation bucket, an excavation rod, an operation rod and a sliding rod, the soil excavation bucket is fixedly connected with the lower end of the excavation rod, and the excavation rod and the operation rod are both fixedly connected with the sliding block; the supporting facility is composed of a strip-shaped base, a guide rail, a sliding groove and a transverse beam, wherein the guide rail is fixedly connected with the strip-shaped base, and the sliding groove is fixedly connected with the transverse beam and erected on the guide rail. After a foundation trench is excavated to the height approaching the designed height, the strip-shaped base and the guide rail are installed on two sides of the foundation trench, the sliding groove and the transverse beam are erected on the guide rail, the bottom of the soil excavation bucket is the standard height required by the design, then the operation rod can be operated, and the soil excavation bucket is used for removing soil. The foundation trench soil cleaning device and method have the advantages of being capable of removing residual soil in the foundation trench flatly and enabling the excavation depth of the foundation trench to meet the design requirement, and foundation soil is not disturbed.
