The invention discloses an insulation board for building partitions. The insulation board comprises a basalt rock wool core, steel mesh support frames I and II arranged on two sides of the core and short steel wires penetrating the basalt rock wool core, and two ends of each short steel wire are respectively connected with the steel mesh support frames I and II. Each steel mesh support frame is composed of multiple longitudinal and transverse galvanized steel wires in the same plane, the diameter of each galvanized steel wire is 2.2-3.2mm, and tensile strength of the same is 650-800Mpa. The insulation board for building partitions takes the inorganic insulation material, namely basalt rock wool, as the core and the double-layer steel wires as the support frames, thereby having the advantages of reliable performance, stable structure, convenience in mounting, simplicity in construction and low cost and being a good partition material for buildings and interior decoration.
