The invention discloses side mode stop blocks and a method for reinforcing beam side templates by adopting the side mode stop blocks. Each side mode stop block comprises a baffle, a supporting rod, a connecting rod and a fastener, wherein a right triangle is defined by the baffle, the supporting rod and the connecting rod; the baffle serves as a right-angle side of the right triangle; the supporting rod serves as the hypotenuse of the right triangle; both one end of the supporting rod and that of the connecting rod are fixedly connected to the fastener; both the other ends of the supporting rod and the connecting rod are fixedly connected to an outer side surface of the baffle. When the beam side templates are reinforced, a plurality of the side mode stop blocks are arranged outside the beam side templates, and distributed at intervals in the length directions of the beam side templates; moreover, the inner side surfaces of the baffles of the side mode stop blocks are propped against the beam side templates, and the fasteners of the beam side templates are fixed on a beam bottom horizontal pipe. The side mode stop blocks are conventionalized reinforcing parts which are fast and convenient to disassemble and assemble as well as can be repeatedly utilized; when the side mode stop blocks are utilized for reinforcing the beam side templates, the concrete forming quality can be guaranteed, the efficiency improvement is facilitated, and the material consumption is reduced.
