A method of extracting rare earth sulfate from coal gangue and applying the rare earth sulfate as a concrete additive
A method of extracting rare earth sulfate from coal gangue and applying the rare earth sulfate as a concrete additive is disclosed. The method can fully recover ion-type rare earth in the coal gangue, effectively utilizes resources, largely increases enterprise income and keeps rare earth elements and silicon which are beneficial to concrete. After the extracted rare earth sulfate is mixed with an additive auxiliary, effective blending of rare earth and materials can be achieved, and the mixture can be directly used for concrete production. By detection, the rare earth extraction rate is 70-80%. The rare earth elements can play roles of water proofness, bending resistance, insulation, and the like in concrete. By compositing the rare earth elements with the silicon, concrete strength can be effectively improved and concrete stability can be improved.
