A method of extracting a silicon-magnesium-aluminum composite insulating material from asbestos tailings
A method of extracting a silicon-magnesium-aluminum composite insulating material from asbestos tailings is disclosed. In the method, asbestos tailings are ground into powder and activated, thus effectively increasing the leaching rates of silicon, magnesium and aluminum. Polyimide fiber powder and floating beads are finally added as insulating auxiliary agents. By mixing a silane coupling agent with the extracted silicon, the extracted magnesium and the extracted aluminum, the composite insulating material which is stable, high in strength and high in insulating performance is formed. The material is good in environment protection performance and wide in application range.
