The present invention discloses a low-loss nickel-zinc ferrite material and a preparation method thereof. The low-loss nickel-zinc ferrite material is prepared from the following raw materials by weight: 50-70 parts of ferric oxide, 22-26 parts of zinc oxide, 16-19 parts of nickelous oxide, 3-5 parts of manganese carbonate, 0.3-0.7 part of silicon oxide, 0.3-0.7 part of tellurium dioxide, 0.3-0.4 part of carbonyl iron powder, 6-10 parts of chlorinated polyethylene, 0.4-1 part of carbon powder, 1-2 parts of sodium lignin sulfonate, 6-9 parts of an organosilicon resin, and a proper amount of deionized water. The low-loss nickel-zinc ferrite material of the present invention has characteristics of clear grain boundary, high compactness, reasonable pore distribution, high initial magnetic permeability, low loss, excellent electromagnetic property, excellent thermal shock resistance, high mechanical strength, and other properties.
