Wedged seal
The invention discloses a wedged seal and relates to the technical field of suspension bridge cable protection. The wedged seal comprises a wedged body made of rubber and having one high end and the other low end; the wedged body is provided with a plurality of positioning pin holes; the orientation of the positioning pin holes is perpendicular to that of a wedged face of the wedged body; the wedged face of the wedged body is provided with at least two hoop grooves facing in the same direction as the positioning pin holes; the wedged body is provided with a plurality of sealing protrusions extending out of the bottom of the wedged body. Compared with the prior art, the wedged seal has the advantages that the wedged seal is mounted at the cable clamp end of a main cable, two sides of the wedged body are abutted through positioning pins mounted in the positioning pin holes, the wedged body surrounds the main cable, the high end of the wedged body is adhered to a cable clamp, the wedged body is fastened to the main cable through hoops, the high end of the wedged body compresses to the cable clamp after the wedged body deforms, the sealing protrusions at the bottom compress to the main cable so as to seal the circular seams of the hoops, the wedged seal is convenient and simple to mount and operate, and the wedged seal rarely ages and has long life.
