A method of reinforcing deep water foundation pit steel sheet pile cofferdams
The invention provides a method of reinforcing deep water foundation pit steel sheet pile cofferdams. A circle of retaining wall formed from steel pipe piles and a row of reinforcing steel sheet piles are constructed on the outer side of the closing portion of a steel sheet pile cofferdam; the two ends of the retaining wall are pressed against the outer side of the steel sheet pile cofferdam; the reinforcing steel sheet piles are surrounded by the retaining wall; the space between the retaining wall and the reinforcing steel sheet piles is filled with bagged clay; the space between the reinforcing steel sheet piles and the steel sheet pile cofferdam is filled with a mixture of cement and sand. The method is characterized in that the retaining wall, the bagged clay, the reinforcing steel sheet piles and the mixture of cement and sand with the anti-penetrability performance increasing layer by layer are successively arranged from outside to inside on the outer side of the closing portion of the steel sheet pile cofferdam, so that the pressure suffered by the closing portion of the steel sheet pile cofferdam is reduced, no leak of the steel sheet pile cofferdam is guaranteed, the structural stability and safety of the cofferdam in the using process are guaranteed, and crack of the steel sheet pile cofferdam in the using process is prevented.
