BINDER FOR MANUFACTURING INORGANIC SINTERED BODY
The present invention provides a binder for manufacturing an inorganic sintered body from which can be obtained a ceramic green sheet, the binder having excellent adhesiveness and thermal degradation properties during hot pressing, and, especially when used as a binder for a ceramic green sheet, having adequate mechanical strength and flexibility, and also provides a ceramic green sheet, a ceramic layered body, and a paste for manufacturing an inorganic sintered body using the binder for manufacturing an inorganic sintered body. The present invention is a binder for manufacturing an inorganic sintered body containing a graft copolymer that has a unit comprising polyvinyl butyral, and a unit comprising a poly(meth)acrylic acid, the polyvinyl butyral having a degree of polymerization of 800-5000, a hydroxyl content of 20-40 mol%, and a degree of butyralization of 60-80 mol%, and the glass transition temperature of the unit comprising a poly(meth)acrylic acid being 0-110 DEG C.
