Magnesium-rich forsterite-spinel composite brick and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses a magnesium-rich forsterite-spinel composite brick and a preparation method thereof. The composite brick is mainly prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 25-45% of synthetic forsterite with the particle size of 5-3mm, 15-35% of synthetic forsterite with the particle size of 3-1mm, 5-20% of electrofusion magnesia alumina spinel with the particle size of 1-0mm, 5-25% of synthetic forsterite with the particle size of less than 0.088mm, 5-10% of electrofusion magnesia alumina spinel with the particle size of less than 0.088mm, 3-8% of magnesite fine powder with the particle size of less than 0.088mm and 1-5% of alpha-Al2O3 with the particle size of less than 0.044mm. In the preparation process, a pulp waste liquid, which accounts for 3-6 wt% of the raw materials, is added as a binder. The product magnesium-rich forsterite-spinel composite brick has the advantages of favorable high-temperature properties, high volume stability, high thermal shock stability and high erosion resistance, and can completely satisfy the use on the middle part and lower part of the glass kiln regenerator wall.
