Method for reinforcing silica-based ceramic core by using silicon resin to enhance mechanical properties
The invention aims to provide a method for reinforcing a silica-based ceramic core by using a silicon resin to enhance mechanical properties, which is characterized in that the silicon resin is cured on the core surface and in the internal clearances to reinforce the room temperature strength of the core, and the silicon resin left inside the core generates amorphous SiO2 at high temperature and is subjected to phase change at 1200 DEG C or so to obtain cristobalite, thereby enhancing the high-temperature bending resistance of the core. The method mainly comprises the following steps: infiltrating the silicon resin reinforcer into the silica-based ceramic core (which can be completed in an organic glass experimental tank) under vacuum conditions, and immersing at normal temperature for 6 hours under the vacuum degree of 600-6000Pa; and taking out, drying and curing by heating. The ceramic core surface obtained by the technique is light yellow, and has the optimal smooth effect. The method for reinforcing the core obviously enhances the room temperature strength, obviously reduces the crack during pattern injection, improves the high temperature strength of the core, increases the service qualification rate to 95% above, and shortens the production cycle of the reinforcement technique.
