The invention provides a door and window installation process. The door and window installation process comprises the steps of installing an auxiliary frame structure at a door or window opening, and enabling an installation frame formed by the auxiliary frame structure to be matched with a door or window assembly in contour; installing glass in the door or window frame, installing hinge pins on the door or window frame, arranging receding grooves corresponding to the hinge pins in the door or window frame, and finishing the assembling of the door or window assembly; pushing the assembled door or window assembly horizontally to a preset position of the auxiliary frame structure; enabling the hinge pins to descend and enter pin holes in the auxiliary frame structure, thereby finishing the connection between the door or window assembly and the auxiliary frame structure; and carrying out sealing at the positions of connection between the door or window assembly and the auxiliary frame structure. The door and window installation process is capable of solving the problems that the installation efficiency of door and window assemblies is low and the breakage rate of glass is high in the prior art.
