The invention provides a firing method for a Nixing pottery wall hanging. The method comprises preparation of a blank, forming of a green body, drying of the green body and firing of the green body, wherein firing of the green body comprises the following steps of (1) feeding the dried green body into a kiln, and raising temperature in the kiln to 130 to 150 DEG C at speed of 20 to 30 DEG C per hour; (2) continuing raising the temperature to 350 to 450 DEG C at speed of 80 to 120 DEG C per hour; (3) continuing raising the temperature to 650 to 750 DEG C at speed of 40 to 60 DEG C per hour; (4) continuing raising the temperature to 850 to 950 DEG C at speed of 20 to 30 DEG C per hour; (5) continuing raising the temperature to 1,100 to 1,200 DEG C at speed of 80 to 120 DEG C per hour, stopping heating, and cooling and discharging the product from the kiln to finish firing. According to the firing method, the firing rate of the Nixing pottery wall hanging can reach over 80 percent.
