The invention relates to a mineral wool board, characterized by comprising the following components: 40%-60% of mineral wool, 30%-50% of diatomite, 4%-8% of starch, 1%-6% of clay, and 0.5%-1% of a flocculant. According to the mineral wool board provided by the invention, high-quality diatomite is added into the mineral wool board; as the microscopic structure of the diatomite is a porous structure which is smaller than the size of the interleaved micropores formed by the mineral wool, a special structure of "a large hole sleeved with a small hole inside" is formed, thereby increasing the absorption effect of the mineral wool sound absorbing board on high frequency band sound waves.
