The invention discloses a steep slope ecological greening structure and process and belongs to the technical field of slope greening. The steep slope ecological greening structure comprises a covering net covering the surface of a slope. Ecological rods containing various kinds of materials are placed between the inner side of the covering net and the surface of the slope. The steep slope ecological greening structure further comprises anchor nails and anchor rods, wherein the anchor nails penetrate through the covering net and are inserted into the slope; the anchor rods are located below the ecological rods and used for fixing the positions of the ecological rods.
