The invention relates to a dust collection type grab bucket mechanism which comprises a grab bucket and two dust collection mechanisms. Two connecting lifting lugs I are arranged at the upper end of the grab bucket, two connecting lifting lugs II are arranged on the back portion of the grab bucket, two air draft holes are formed in two sides of the grab bucket, and the two air draft holes formed in the grab bucket are respectively connected with the two dust collection mechanisms. Each dust collection mechanism comprises a supporting block, a dust collection fan, a water tank, an air pipe and a water inlet pipe, the supporting block is welded on the outer wall of the grab bucket, the dust collection fan is installed on the supporting block, the air inlet of the dust collection fan is communicated with the air draft holes formed in the grab bucket, the water tank is installed at the lower end of the supporting block, water in water tank has dust absorption and dissolution effects, one end of the air pipe is communicated with the air outlet of the dust collection fan, and the other end of the air pipe is communicated with the water tank. The air inlet pipe is communicated with the water tank. The problem that the amount of dust produced in the working process of the grab bucket mechanism is large is solved, the dust collection type grab bucket mechanism has the advantages of low dust production rate, high working efficiency and the like, and meanwhile the good health of operating workers is ensured.
