The invention discloses a silent lock and aims at providing a silent lock simple in structure and convenient to assemble. Noise produced by part bump or friction can be effectively avoided. The silent lock is characterized in that an upper locking tongue, a lower locking tongue and a driving mechanism are arranged in a housing, the upper locking tongue and the lower locking tongue can perform axial telescopic motions, and the driving mechanism comprises a locking tongue slide plate and a locking tongue driving part rotatably arranged in the housing. The front end of the locking tongue slide plate is connected with the upper locking tongue, and an opening portion is arranged at the rear end of the locking tongue slide plate. The outer side wall of the locking tongue driving part is integrally provided with an upper locking tongue driving portion matched with the upper locking tongue and a lower locking tongue driving portion matched with the lower locking tongue, and the locking tongue driving part is provided with a reset torsion spring. A limiting rod is arranged in the housing and is located between the upper locking tongue driving portion and the lower locking tongue driving portion. The upper locking tongue driving portion is arranged on the locking tongue slide plate and is opposite to the opening portion.
