The invention discloses a novel rhombic scaffold which comprises connecting boxes and connecting rods. The connecting boxes comprise the first connecting box, the second connecting box, the third connecting box and the fourth connecting box. The connecting rods comprise the first connecting rod, the second connecting rod, the third connecting rod, the fourth connecting rod and the fifth connecting rod. The two ends of the first connecting rod are arranged on the first connecting box and the fourth connecting box respectively, the two ends of the second connecting rod are arranged on the first connecting box and the second connecting box respectively, the two ends of the third connecting rod are arranged on the first connecting box and the third connecting box respectively, the two ends of the fourth connecting rod are arranged on the third connecting box and the fourth connecting box respectively, and the two ends of the fifth connecting rod are arranged on the second connecting box and the third connecting box respectively.
