The invention discloses an automatic water flushing mechanism. The automatic water flushing mechanism comprises an electrically-controlled mechanical reduction gearbox, an intermittent-moving gear and an intermittent-moving oscillating bar, wherein one end of the intermittent-moving oscillating bar is connected with a water flushing valve through a chain, the other end of the intermittent-moving oscillating bar is connected with a rotating shaft fixed on the electrically-controlled mechanical reduction gearbox, and the intermittent-moving oscillating bar rotates around the rotating shaft; the intermittent-moving gear is driven to rotate by a motor of the electrically-controlled mechanical reduction gearbox, a tooth portion is arranged along the edge of the intermittent-moving gear and provided with at least one gear tooth, and the intermittent-moving oscillating bar is provided with an arc rack meshed with the tooth portion of the intermittent-moving gear. The automatic water flushing mechanism is capable of suddenly falling under the action of gravity, complete closing of the water flushing valve is benefited by impact force of falling, and the problem of water leakage caused by incomplete closing of the water flushing valve is less prone to being caused.
