The invention discloses a chopped strand PVC floor and a production method thereof. The chopped strand PVC floor sequentially comprises an abrasion resistant layer, a color film layer and a bottom layer. A middle layer is further arranged between the bottom layer and the color film layer and comprises, by weight, 12% to 20% of PVC, 4% to 8% of plasticizers, 1% to 5% of stabilizers, 65% to 75% of calcium carbonate, 0.5% to 3% of auxiliary materials and 2% to 10% of chopped strands. By means of the PVC floor, the shrinking percentage and the expansion rate of a product are effectively reduced, the tenacity of the product is improved, and the impacting resistance of the product is improved.
