The method comprises the following steps that a pit is dug on the riparian zone gravel bottomland; an outer ring and an inner ring are sequentially placed in the pit along the pit wall; soil is filled in the inner ring, a mixture of the soil and soil stabilizers is filled between the inner ring and the outer ring, and crushed gravel is filled between the outer ring and the pit wall; the inner ring and the outer ring are pulled out, and soil fixing plants are planted in the soil filled in the inner ring. According to the method, the steps are simple, the needed materials are less, four layers of protection systems for fixing the soil are established through the design of the inner ring and the outer ring, and scouring of rainwater or river water can be resisted to the maximum extent; meanwhile, the vegetation recovery area is large, and the greening effect is good.
