The invention relates to an aerogel composite powder material. The aerogel composite powder material is composed of the following components by mass: 20 to 60% of an inorganic porous material and 40 to 80% of aerogel. The invention has the following beneficial effects: as the inorganic porous material is used to absorb aerogel particles, supporting force is provided for the aerogel, so excellent heat conduction coefficient of the aerogel composite powder material is guaranteed and the problems of low strength, poor toughness, incapability of direct usage and the like of pure aerogel are overcome; the aerogel composite powder material can be used as heat-preserving mortar, a thermal insulation material, etc.; meanwhile, the raw materials for preparation of the aerogel composite powder material are cheap and easily available, and the preparation method for preparation of the aerogel composite powder material is simple, has safe and fast procedures and can easily realize industrial production.
