The invention provides a suspension hanging basket for installation of a roof surface bottom layer color plate. The suspension hanging basket comprises a steel beam and a purline, wherein a first steel wire rope and a second steel wire rope are respectively fixed on the steel beam on two ends of the purline; the first steel wire rope is connected with a third steel wire rope via a first lever hoist; the second steel wire rope is connected with the third wire steel rope via a second lever hoist; and the third steel wire rope is connected with the hanging basket via a pulley. The hanging basket can be flexibly placed according to construction side conditions; the hanging basket can be clamped via a self-clamp device, so hanging basket stability can be enhanced; and the hanging basket can be accurately positioned via a hanging hook.
