The invention discloses an assembly type adjustable protective barrier. The assembly type adjustable protective barrier comprises a pair of vertically-arranged vertical rods and cross rods perpendicularly fixed to the vertical rods. A protective unit is arranged between the vertical rods and comprises a pair of clamping grooves formed in the opposite sides of the vertical rods, and a protective plate detachably inserted into the clamping grooves, wherein the protective plate and the vertical rods are located on the same horizontal plane. Industrialized machining of the near-edge protective barrier is achieved, installation assembly is achieved, near-edge protection is adjustable when procedures are switched, and meanwhile the safety of constructors and site civilized construction can be guaranteed.
