The present invention provides a structure for mounting a diesel oxidation catalyst device to a generator motor, and capable of increasing the attachment strength of a bracket for mounting a heavy DOC device onto the upper section of the generator motor housing, without affecting the cooling function of the generator motor, when mounting a DOC device via a bracket to the upper section of the generator motor housing. To this end, the present invention is equipped with a DOC device (5) to be mounted to the upper section of the generator motor (1), and a bracket (6) that is for positioning the DOC device (5) above the generator motor (1) at a distance therefrom, and that is positioned between the generator motor (1) and the DOC device (5). Furthermore, the upper section of the generator motor housing (11) has a screw-hole-equipped boss (16) formed therein which is provided so as to project upward, and the lower section of the bracket (6) is bolted to the screw-hole-equipped boss (16).
