The refractory castable with excellent usability and low production cost is prepared from ferrovanadium slag, asbestos tailings, magnesia, aluminum ash, silicon carbide, fine powder of high aluminium bauxite, magnesian marble, tantalum carbide, aluminum nitride, hafnium boride, zirconia, yttrium oxide, sodium tripolyphosphate, sodium hydroxyl cellulose and pure calcium aluminate cement; so the purposes of comprehensively recycling ferrovanadium slag and asbestos tailings and reducing production cost are achieved.
