The invention provides a rhombic section branching single column type cable tower for a cable-stayed bridge and relates to the technical field of civil engineering. The rhombic section branching single column type cable tower comprises an upper tower column, a branched middle tower column, a branched lower tower column, a lower beam and a tower bottom beam. The top surface of the upper tower column is rhombic, the section of the upper tower column is in a rhombic shape with a chamfer, and the sectional dimensions vary continuously. The upper tower column forms eight outer side faces in total, the eight outer side faces are provided with a fixed gradient, the branched middle tower column and the branched lower tower column are of a hollow structure, the lower beam is arranged corresponding to a bridge floor main beam, and the tower bottom beam is arranged in the range of ship collision.
