The invention provides a rhombic section branching single column type cable tower for a cable-stayed bridge and relates to the technical field of civil engineering. The rhombic section branching single column type cable tower comprises an upper tower column, a branched middle tower column, a branched lower tower column, a lower beam and a tower bottom beam. The top surface of the upper tower column is rhombic, the section of the upper tower column is in a rhombic shape with a chamfer, and the sectional dimensions vary continuously.
