The invention relates to zirconium silicate whisker modified tabular alumina porous ceramic used in LED lamp heat dissipation. The ceramic is prepared from the raw materials of, by weight, 34-36 parts of alpha-Al2O3, 100-105 parts of deionized water, 0.2-0.3 parts of sodium polyacrylate, 2-2.3 parts of methylcellulose, 1.6-1.8 parts of glycerol, 1.5-1.9 parts of Be(AlO2)2, 0.4-0.6 parts of acetylene black, 0.4-0.6 parts of zirconium silicate whiskers, 1.1-1.4 parts of LaO.6Al2O3, 4-5 parts of nano-grade aluminum oxide, 1.2-1.5 parts of nano-grade copper, and 0.9-1.1 parts of a PVA binding agent. According to the invention, with Be(AlO2)2, acetylene black, zirconium silicate whisker and LaO.6Al2O3, ceramic toughness, heat conductivity and hardness are improved. When the ceramic is compounded with metal, the wettability and adhesion are good. The ceramic is suitable for a high-power LED chip heat-dissipation ceramic substrate.

The invention relates to zirconium silicate whisker modified tabular alumina porous ceramic used in LED lamp heat dissipation. The ceramic is prepared from the raw materials of, by weight, 34-36 parts of alpha-Al2O3, 100-105 parts of deionized water, 0.2-0.3 parts of sodium polyacrylate, 2-2.3 parts of methylcellulose, 1.6-1.8 parts of glycerol, 1.5-1.9 parts of Be(AlO2)2, 0.4-0.6 parts of acetylene black, 0.4-0.6 parts of zirconium silicate whiskers, 1.1-1.4 parts of LaO.6Al2O3, 4-5 parts of nano-grade aluminum oxide, 1.2-1.5 parts of nano-grade copper, and 0.9-1.1 parts of a PVA binding agent. According to the invention, with Be(AlO2)2, acetylene black, zirconium silicate whisker and LaO.6Al2O3, ceramic toughness, heat conductivity and hardness are improved. When the ceramic is compounded with metal, the wettability and adhesion are good. The ceramic is suitable for a high-power LED chip heat-dissipation ceramic substrate.
