The invention provides a space structure key rod piece reinforcing method. According to the space structure key rod piece reinforcing method, firstly, joints (4) at the two ends of a rod piece (1) to be reinforced are each additionally provided with two or four longitudinal stiffening ribs (2); the stiffening ribs (2) are evenly distributed on the circumference of the rod piece (1); one end of each stiffening rib (2) is fixedly connected with the corresponding joint (4); the stiffening ribs (2) are welded to the rod piece (1) in the axial direction along the length of the stiffening ribs (2), and the length of the stiffening ribs (2) is 1/20-1/10 that of the rod piece (1); then, the outer sides between the stiffening ribs (2) at the two ends of the rod piece (1) are provided with square restraining components, the inner sides of the square restraining components are attached to the circumference of the rod piece (1), the stiffening ribs (2) are located in gaps formed by vertex angles of the square restraining components and the outer circumference of the rod piece (1), and the length of the square restraining components is smaller than that of the longitudinal rod piece (1) to be reinforced. By means of the method, collapse and damage, caused by rod piece instability under strong wind or strong shock, of a large-span space structure can be effectively prevented.

The invention provides a space structure key rod piece reinforcing method.
