The invention relates to the technical field of doors and windows, in particular to a sliding door for a high-rise building. The sliding door comprises a main door frame. The main door frame comprises an upper slider, a lower slider and a side rabbet. The main door frame is internally provided with a pair of sliding door leaves and a pair of fixed door leaves. The upper slider and the lower slider are in a long-strip shape extending in the left and right direction. The lower slider comprises an inner bottom supporting part, a buffering connecting bearing part, a middle bottom supporting part and an outer protection strengthening supporting part, all of which are integrally connected in sequence from interior to exterior of a room, the inner bottom supporting part and the buffering connecting bearing part are used for supporting and sliding moving of the sliding door leaves, the middle bottom supporting part and the outer protection strengthening supporting part are used for supporting the fixed door leaves, and the inner bottom supporting part is provided with a guide rail extending in the left and right direction. The upper slider comprises an inner top limiting part, an upper transition connecting part, a middle top limiting part and an upper outer protection strengthening limiting part which are integrally connected from interior to exterior of a room in sequence and are opposite to the inner bottom supporting part, the buffering connecting bearing part, the middle bottom supporting part and the outer protection strengthening supporting part in the vertical direction. The sliding door is simple and firm in structure, low in cost, long in service life and high in wind pressure resisting capability.
