In the yangtze river delta area, the temperature of stored objects in an underground cooling granary in the first summer is lower than or equal to 8 DEG C, and energy consumption is negligible. It is expected that the rice storage time is prolonged from two years at present to eight years. Refrigeration is adopted so that the temperature of the stored objects in a low-latitude area can be decreased sufficiently.
